It's the perfect size for the beach! I hate having just towels down and this gives you enough space to put your things down without having to be in the sand and it's thin enough to fold if you want to have a smaller spread. The tassels are a nice touch too. I'm very happy with my purchase and every purchase I've made with Big Blanket

Big and heavy
I got this so I can take at the beach and cuddle. I also got the big sleeping bag type blankets to lay on and this one to cover up and keep warm. I don't know how sandproof this is. I also find that it is very heavy and hard to out back in the Lil bag.. I do like that it make of natural fibers.

THE PERFECT PICNIC BLANKET
I LOVE this blanket. I have purchased three of them and spread them out in my backyard when we have family parties. They look so great and festive, and are super useful as people are able to sit on the lawn and visit together with plenty of comfortable room for everyone. They wash up so well, and again look just great. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Plus the packaging was tremendous! :)
